Effects of injunctions on settlement

Region: Ontario Answer # 1547

Once an injunction is in place and the fraudster is not able to deal freely with assets in their control, they are much more likely to seek a settlement. This is most common in cases where, in obtaining an ex parte Mareva injunction, the victim presents an extremely strong case of fraud, and then immediately persists in obtaining an interim injunction and then an interlocutory injunction.

If you discover you are a victim of fraud, it is a good idea to contact a fraud recovery expert for advice.

If you a have a criminal record due to fraud-related charges (or for any other criminal offence), and wish to erase your record, call toll-free 1-888-808-3628 or learn more at Pardon Partners. It’s easier than you think.
