Health considerations for residents and tenants

Region: Ontario Answer # 7303

Residents of multi-unit dwellings should comply with public health recommendations.  If you feel unwell you should stay home from work. If you think you may have COVID-19, you should:

  • self-quarantine, and do not use common facilities such as the gym, pool, reading room, etc.,
  • get tested,
  • notify your building manager, so that the staff know not to enter your unit, and
  • have friends or family leave any supplies you need outside your door.

The situation is changing daily. You should refer to your Provincial Health Ministry and Health Canada for up-to-date information and recommendations.
