The legal age to purchase, sell or consume cannabis in all provinces and territories is as follows:

The legal age is 18 in:

  • Alberta

The legal age is 19 in:

  • British Columbia
  • Manitoba
  • New Brunswick
  • Newfoundland and Labrador
  • Northwest Territories
  • Nova Scotia
  • Nunavut
  • Ontario
  • Prince Edward Island
  • Saskatchewan
  • Yukon

The legal age is 21 in:

  • Quebec
