Based in Quebec City, and primarily a French-speaking school, Laval University, Faculty of Law, was founded in 1852 and is one of the oldest institutions in North America. It’s Faculty of Law offers a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) as well as programs for law including Law of Business, and International and Transitional Law.

The Master of Laws (LL.M) program offers degrees in International and Transnational Law, Environmental Law, Sustainable Development and Food Security, and Fundamental Rights.

The Faculty of Law has approximately 1,400 active students, with approximately 54 professors and 50 lecturers.

Financial aid and various scholarships are available. Full-time tuition is about $5,000 per year, depending on your province of residence.

The school’s Office of Student Life actively supports students and provides guidance and encouragement regarding student extracurricular projects, student associations and all aspects of life on campus.The Physical Education and Sports Pavilion (PEPS) is home to many sports activities.
