The Superior Court of Justice is one of the busiest trial courts in the world. In Ontario, the Superior Court of Justice has inherent jurisdiction over Family Court, criminal and civil case proceedings, giving it authority to hear any matter that is not specifically assigned to another level of court.
The Divisional Court and Small Claims Court are also branches of the Superior Court of Justice.
The Superior Court of Justice website provides an extensive list of Resources for the public, including links to other government bodies and legislation. Legal Line has been added to its impressive list of Legal Information and Resources, as well as Additional Resources.
We are proud to be included as a valuable resource for all those trying to navigate the extensive world of Ontario courts.
