Great info! This book is very long but is not overwhelming because you can just flip to the chapter you are interested in. I refer to it all the time for a bunch of different circumstances. Highly recommend!

Very good book that everyone should have. This book was written by many different lawyers, the authors them self say this book was a lot of work to make. Know your rights it worth it. tell you what you should if you get stop by police.

The book was effective as a general description of a wide variety of Canadian law. The treatment of each subject area was neither too superficial nor too in-depth. The book is quite thick but not intimidating. I found the language easily understandable. Every Canadian should read this book.

As a law clerk this is an excellent book for the non-lawyer or student wanting to know about the law. It’s in plain English and easy to understand. I recommend it to anyone.

I found it really interesting. We tend to believe the law is the same about daily issues throughout Canada but it is not. There are some topics that after reading the book we can always study in a deeper way.
