Who can own a Bingo Hall?

If there is a cost to play bingo, only charitable and religious organizations can own or operate a bingo hall. In addition, the charity or religious organization must be licensed by the provincial regulator or licensing authority. This is accordance with Section 207(1)(b) of the Criminal Code.
