Do you need to register your drone?
Region: Ontario Answer # 3104Drones below 250 grams do not need to be registered with Transport Canada. Any drone between 250 grams and 25 kilograms must be registered and this registration number must be marked somewhere on the drone. You can register your drone through Transport Canada’s Drone Management Portal.
To register your drone, you will need to know the purchase date, make, model, serial number, weight, and type of drone. You must also pay a small registration fee.
What if you don’t register your drone?

As well, by registering your drone, it may be more easily located if it is ever lost.
