Answer # 6645
Quebec Skilled Worker Program
Region: Ontario Answer # 6645Quebec and the Government of Canada have a special agreement on immigration – before applying for permanent residence, you must first apply to Quebec as a Quebec-selected Skilled Worker.
To be accepted, you must first make an application to the Quebec government for a certificate of selection. This application will include a medical exam and a police check. If the Quebec government accepts your application and issues you a certificate, you must then apply to IRCC for permanent residence.
Applications for the Program must be made online. Fees are approximately $1,525 and processing time 11 months.
