The Law Clerk program at St. Lawrence College, is a 46-week Ontario College Diploma program.  Graduates are prepared for career opportunities in a wide variety of legal environments, including law firms, government offices, legal clinics, corporations, financial institutions, and other businesses.

An emphasis is placed on the following the following areas of study:

• Civil Litigation
• Criminal Law
• Property Law
• Family law
• Wills and Estates Law
• Business Law

Admission requirements

Minimum admission requirements:

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with the majority of Grade 11 and 12 courses at the C, U or M level including the following prerequisites:
  • Grade 12 English at the C or U level
  • Grade 11 Math

Not required for admission, but recommended: Basic computer proficiency in word processing, electronic file management, and email.

Highlights

• 4 week work placement
• Courses may be taught in classroom or lab, online, or a combination of both
• A full two-year diploma can be earned over the course of three consecutive

Fees

Tuition cost for 2 semesters is approximately $3,600 with an additional cost of $1,900 for ancillary fees.
